⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute hidden gem! Perfection for our first family visit. We visited White Ridge Farm for the first time yesterday as two adults and our 4-month-old, and we had the most incredible experience. We are a also neurodiverse family but our older children were at school and we like to explore a place first to make sure it will be suitable for them, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough—it is a fantastic, welcoming, and inclusive community space. Here is why this farm deserves well over 5 stars: Impeccable Accessibility: We had our pram with us, and getting around was incredibly easy. The entire layout is highly accessible, and we noticed how wonderfully accommodating it is for wheelchair users as well. There are plenty of shaded seating areas to rest or have lunch. The Animals & Rescue Mission: The variety of animals is amazing! They have goats, sheep, a donkey, horses, llamas, alpacas, a cow, ducks, chickens, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, a camel, and gorgeous birds (cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, Indian ringnecks, and galahs). It is so beautiful to know that many of these animals are rescues who have found their forever home here. They are so gentle, and you can pat and feed them! Great Extras & Value: Kids under 2 are free! Your entry also includes free mini-golf, a free tractor ride, and a free train ride. We didn’t get a chance to try them this time, but we will absolutely be doing them next time. Wonderful Staff & Education: The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and truly elevated our experience. There are clear signs letting you know which animals you can feed, plus fantastic fun-fact signs along the way so kids (and adults!) can learn as they explore. Community Vibe & Photo Ops: There are endless photo and video opportunities to capture special moments. We actually offered to take photos for other families and ended up having great chats with other patrons. It has such a warm, friendly community feel. Even with a school excursion group visiting at the same time, the farm is so spacious that we never felt crowded or on top of anyone. Convenient Amenities: 5 toilets are available on-site. There is multiple sinks and soap around to clean your hands (especially for those with sensory needs as animals can make a mess when feeding them) There is a lovely little gift shop where you can purchase food and drinks and Gifts. Tip: If you need to pop back out to your car for any reason, just grab a stamp at the shop for re-entry! We were blessed with beautiful, sunny weather and truly had the best day. We are already looking into the Annual Passes because they are such great value. It’s the perfect spot to meet up with family and friends, or even make new ones. If you are reading this review trying to decide whether to go: DO IT! I guarantee you will love it as much as we did. We cannot wait to come back and bring the rest of our family and friends next time! 🙌 If you have questions don't be afraid to call them or send an email they are incredibly helpful and kind. ~ Brooke 🥰
We came because of high review but was quite disappointed. The farm is quite small for a ticket fees of $100 for 4 pax is quite expensive. Overall quite poorly maintained. The tractor just tour around the estate and showing us some display (toy/ stuff/ decor) on the tree and on the floor Overall quite small. The mini golf is quite fun for kids. More suitable for very young kids 3-6 years old
Such a magical, whimsical place to take the kids! ✨ All the staff were so lovely, helpful, and always smiling, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The animals were clearly well cared for — everything was clean and they all looked happy and healthy. I highly recommend this spot for families with young children. There’s a fantastic play area where parents can relax with a coffee while the kids have fun, plus plenty to see and do to keep everyone entertained! 🐾💛
The experience was awesome. Theres Plenty of animals available to feed and a tractor ride and a mini golf course. And the staff were amazing and very friendly and hardworking
Very lovely farm! Chance to feed all the lovely animals closely with a bucket of grass. But be careful with the big camel - he will always try to grab all your grass (but I guess I won't be the last one who had my little grass bucket robbed by him). The pink piggy bank in the souvenir shop is very cute too so I bought one and put it at home. It looks nice. And all the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and took care of the animals very well. I’m glad that I visited here between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. (if there is any suggestion, the only thing that I can think of is maybe the entry road and parking ground could be improved by tarmac paved road, so that they are more friendly with small non-4WD cars of tourists)
