Vertigo is Australia's first vertical dining adventure, perched four stories above the ground, overhanging Brisbane Powerhouse's iconic industrial façade.
Guests can enjoy a shared charcuterie experience while taking in sweeping city views at golden hour. Sip, snack, and savour the moment from one of Brisbane's most unforgettable vantage points.
Vertigo accommodates eight tables of two, with multiple seatings available on Friday and Saturday evenings, weather permitting.
We were in Drop Bear haven! Wine, cheese and then jumping off a building - most adventurous team dining experience we have ever done. The team at Vertigo were amazing, so helpful, so kind and so patient - one of us took a while to build up the courage to jump. Watching the sunset over Brisbane, the moon rise over the river and the city light up was incredible too. We will certainly be back with more Drop Bear’s soon! Thank you for an amazing experience!
We had the best time experiencing Vertigo. I’ve never done anything like it and it was a really great way to spend a Friday evening! Nicole and the team are awesome. Super friendly, make you feel so comfortable with the height if you are feeling a bit nervous. The food was delicious and it was beautiful to watch the sunset over the city. I was quite nervous jumping off (attached of course) but Nicole made me feel so at ease and I was so glad I did it. Would highly recommend for a change to your Friday evening. It’s great fun and I will definitely be back. Thanks team!
A big shout out to Nicole, Doug, Summer and the team at Vertigo Brisbane. It's a beautiful spot with river views and city views. There are 6 flights of stairs to the roof top. The charcuterie board is perfect allowing you to snack whilst enjoying the view and your companion. I recommend walking the plank when you have finished (after a cup of Dutch courage) and enjoy a safe steady trip down. The alternative is to walk back down 6 flights of stairs. Must do experience. Thanks team.
My son and I had a really great time doing the Vertigo dinner experience at the Powerhouse. I have been wanting to do it since it opened and finally got to do it! The meal was delicious, the views were amazing, and it was so much fun. We counted it as a belated birthday and an early Mother’s Day celebration. The customer service by all staff was great and they were fantastic in catering for my gluten and dairy intolerances. We had the Heirloom Tomato Salad for entree, and seafood Brodetto for main. My son had the Chocolate Nemesis cake and I had the almond milk Panna Cotta for dessert. We persisted through the rain during our main meal to enjoy the full experience. They gave us blankets to protect us from the rain that the umbrellas didn’t cover which helped a lot. We did the scary zipline down from the seat and had paid extra to Walk the Plank at the end. It wasn’t that scary after doing the first one!
I had the best experience tonight. I brought my best friend for a surprise for her 40th; she is an adrenaline seeker, I’m not, but we had the most amazing time. Thank you so much, Doug. Without you, I wouldn’t have felt secure. You were amazing, and your beautiful vibe and love for your job was so amazing. Thank you, Doug, so much. You helped me do something that I never felt capable of, and to the beautiful lady who served our food and drinks, you're awesome, and to the beautiful lady on the floor, you are so friendly and kind. You have the most beautiful vibe. Thank you.
