Absolutely gorgeous hotel in an amazing location! The property is beautifully decorated with stunning attention to detail, creating a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The pool area is a true highlight—beautifully designed, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, style, and convenience.
The location, service and location are all incredible. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in the world, especially since Matcha is included along with fresh squeezed juice and fresh made daily bagels. Phoebe who checked us in exemplified customer service. She was beyond genuinely excited for our recent engagement and went above and beyond. She had a warmth and welcome that I haven't experienced at a front desk in a long time. She needs to teach customer service to other hotels. We also got a very generous upgrade to a suite. The only area that could use some improvement was the pool food. It was okay but subpar compared to the rest of the hotel.
Absolutely great hotel! Location is very good, on the river, close to shopping and restaurants and great starting point to explore Brisbane on foot and also very good options to go running straight from hotel. The reception is one level up and the staff member who helped me with the check-in was very friendly and clearly loved her job. The rooms: I have to say that I stayed in a penthouse II suite on the 32nd floor (used suite night awards for an upgrade) - so that did increase the experience favorably, but overall the design of all rooms, quality of the beds etc. will also give a great experience in regular rooms. The living room bar is a great place for a drink. In the Lex - a delicious and very extensive breakfast buffet is served. When I had an issue with the AC, within minutes an engineer came and fixed it. And lastly, the approximately 20M long salt water pool (with underwater music!) is amazing for a workout (most hotel pools are too short/small). Not a problem here at all!
We wanted to visit here because we visited the fabulous W Hotel in Kuala Lumpur and thought it may be cool to compare them. In terms of location, absolutely stunning, with views across the Brisbane River and the city. The Wet Deck has got a lovely relaxed and comfortable vibe and we could have stayed there all day. The DJ played some cool tunes too to add to the ambience. Service in both places was absolutely wonderful. Cannot fault either place. Big shout out to the wonderful Water, a team member who gave us a lovely, warm welcome and went out of her way to be helpful 😀 She is a true asset to the hotel and we will definitely be going back and hope to see her again. The Japanese lager, Kirin Ichiban, was served in an ice- cold glass and is now on the fave list. Only one minor suggestion might be to have a wider nibbles selection on the menu for those not ready for a full meal but wanting a little bite to eat. Highly recommended.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable — everything felt well-maintained and tidy. The hair dryer provided was decent (not Dyson-level, but sufficient for a comfortable stay). The gym area is large, clean, and equipped with relatively new equipment. Breakfast area does get quite busy, so it’s best to head down early. They do buffet and à la carte. While we didn’t try the buffet ourselves, it looked like there was a good variety on offer. Location-wise, it’s excellent — with the river on one side and the city and shops on the other. There are also food options just downstairs, including Thai, Vietnamese, and cafés, which makes it convenient. Overall, a very comfortable and well-located stay.
