Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum

Wonderful display of amazing minerals and fossils. I was particularly impressed by the temporary exhibit that used lego to illustrate the periodic table and other things and the Minecraft minerals display, making a rather dry subject entertaining and accessible for all ages. Great gift shop too!

A most spectacular display of minerals and crystals I've ever seen. From within all Australian states and Territories and many from around the world. Then to top it off, a magic array of fossils a and cast's of a couple of dinosaur skeletons. They say this museum has been here for 22years but the subjects were millions of years in the making. Well worth a visit.

Wealth of history living in this cozy and compact museum! Awe inspiring displayed of collections around the country and globe! Quite a fascinating place where kids/adults in fact all ages people can learn about the past. We spent quite a long time inside the museum and learned a lot! Every pieces of collection has its own unique history and features. A must visit place for everyone! Highly recommended.
