Alure Fishing Charters NT

Four of us spent 3 days with Gerard barra and deep sea fishing. It was a bucket list trip for me. I've been fishing plenty of times but never caught anything much bigger than my hand. With Gerard's help I caught a 106cm barra. The other three were novices but they all caught plenty of other fish, too. We were in good hands with Gerard who gave us plenty of instruction and banter. The fishing gear was first rate and the boat was comfortably shaded in the hot sun. This was a 'peak experience' for all of us and I can well understand why Alure Fishing Charters enjoys the very good ratings that it does. Very highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

Gerard is always very helpful with a lot of local knowledge we have been with Alure fishing charters on a couple of occasions and with challenging conditions but he has always come through and did his best to always put us on the fish.

Gerard was an excellent guide & host. He has a great set up & is very knowledgeable about the area. Very patient teaching non fishers how to improve their casting technique which we were very appreciative of. Will certainly use him again if we visit Darwin again.

Last month l  met up with Gerard from Alure Fishing Charters NT. We all had the best day out fishing of the Darwin coast. He supplies everything you could possibly need, along with amazing food to keep your energy up for a full day's fishing. Tim and John pulled in a couple of big Jew fish.
