Ramada Suites Zen Quarter

Great place to stay, rooms were nice fully contained with a washer and dryer and Foxtel. Views were good also and the roof top bar had an even better view and a great bar to go with it. Staff were really happy and friendly from reception to housekeeping to bar staff, which was a bonus, nothing was a problem for them. Just a short walk to the Darwin Mall.

We could not fault our stay in any way we turned up at 1am and met at the door by lovely Brett who made us feel welcome with a complimentary beer, which we needed after the day we had getting there, and all the staff were the same. Loved being walking distance from the centre and wharf but just that bit quieter where we were. The roof top bar was great fun and great views and the breakys were lovely in the cafe All round cant wait to go back next year

If I could give no stars I would but I'm forced to give 1 unfortunately. My elderly parents stayed at Ramada Darwin for more than a week, and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotel experiences encountered. From the day they arrived, their room flooded. The air conditioning was faulty, and despite the hotel being aware of the problem, it was never properly fixed. As a result, my elderly parents spent the entire week trying to sleep in a hot room and barely got any rest. To make matters worse, there was loud air conditioning maintenance taking place on the floor above, adding even more disruption. I also stayed at the hotel and had my own issues. My room had broken blinds that wouldn’t close, I was allocated a disabled bathroom that I hadn’t booked, and I was incorrectly charged for breakfast every day despite not booking it. The most disappointing part was that we were still charged the full price for accommodation. The only compensation offered was a $25 bottle of wine, which was completely inadequate given the extent of the problems. My parents are kind, respectful people who would never complain, but elderly guests deserve far better than this. A hotel should ensure guests have a safe, comfortable place to sleep, and Ramada failed to deliver that basic standard. I cannot recommend staying here based on our experience. Every time I got into the lift there were elderly people also saying how dirty and disgusting this place is and it's in an industrial area near nothing . It's clearly being marketed very well to vulnerable people and they are charging extremely expensive prices for absolute filthy that's disgusting .

I wanted a washing machine and we received welcome drinks too! I was so happy! And it just kept getting better. The room was clean and comfortable, the view was great. The staff were so amazing, they actually did make it an awesome stay just by the way they spoke with us. I'm pretty sure it was filtering down from the top as we met the manager in the elevator (I worked that out later since at that time he was acting as a "bellboy"). All the little things made it so easy, so comfortable, so enjoyable. Like providing laundry liquid and pool towels and fantastic service.
