I bought a painting online from this gallery and was really disappointed in its quality. The canvas had many creases and buckles in it which you could not see in the images online. When I asked the gallery about these creases and buckles they said it was common for indigenous works to have these markings due to painting on country. I feel there was a lack of transparency in not telling me about these markings beforehand as I would not have purchased the work. I have bought many art works on line before and have never had a problem until now.
