Mission Beach Tavern

Mission Beach Tavern is the local pub in the centre of Mission Beach village on the Cassowary Coast, halfway between Townsville and Cairns. The kitchen does not close between lunch and dinner. It serves continuously, seven days a week, which is a rarity in the region and makes the tavern a dependable stop for drivers breaking the Bruce Highway run or coming in off the water. The menu centres on local seafood and steaks off the grill, alongside classic pub meals. There is live music every Friday and Saturday night, plus a larger monthly music night that draws the whole village. The tavern is family friendly, with free parking including room for larger vehicles, a bottle shop, and a caravan park directly next door.
