About

Craigie Knowe Vineyard is the oldest vineyard on Tasmania's stunning Freycinet Coast, located just 40 minutes from Freycinet National Park. Surrounded by rolling vineyards and beautiful East Coast scenery, Craigie Knowe offers free self-contained camping amongst the vines, providing a unique and relaxing vineyard escape.

Camping is strictly for fully self-contained vehicles, with no facilities available in the vineyard campground. No bookings are required—simply arrive, follow the signs, choose your spot, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Family-owned and operated, Craigie Knowe is known for its warm Tasmanian hospitality. Visit the cellar door to sample award-winning wines, enjoy a tasting flight, or relax with a glass of wine and a platter featuring local Tasmanian produce, all overlooking the vineyard.

Perfectly positioned between Swansea and Bicheno, Craigie Knowe is an ideal base for exploring Tasmania's spectacular East Coast. Discover pristine beaches, coastal walks, wildlife, galleries, fresh seafood and the natural beauty of the Freycinet region before returning to the tranquillity of the vineyard.

Whether you're stopping for a tasting, enjoying a leisurely lunch, or staying a night amongst the vines, Craigie Knowe offers an authentic Tasmanian wine experience in one of the state's most picturesque regions.
