A great day out in School Holidays. We pre booked and the staff had our schedule ready to go when we arrived. Staff communication is outstanding! Adventure and history combined. Gold and gem panning and couple of boating adventures and rock climbing too!
We had a great visit to Penny Royal Launceston — an awesome place to explore with so much to see and do. The adventure rides, cliff walking, zip line, and underground trip were all fantastic. It's a unique family-friendly spot tucked away in a quiet corner of Launceston with a charming atmosphere. Highly recommended for a fun day out!
Pretty fun experience, worth it if you're in Launceston, staff were all very friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. Its a little pricey at $65+ for the packages or $100+ for everything. Events are run on the hour, so show up 15-30 minutes before so you are ready to go. The only few things that were really not cool is the extra costs, but it seems out of their control, you have to pay for parking. Secondly the little cafe there charges $4 for a small bottle of water, so bring your own as it's thirsty work. Edit: Gave back the extra star since the owner replied with a good explanation haha
Was fun spent 1.5hrs here panning for gems and gold was a hit with our 6yr old. Rock climbing and bridge walk is really cool. Has limited onsite parking but we had no issues we did go for the last part of the day til closing. The dark Boat ride is nothing exciting, but our daughter had fun.
Super fun, everyone was very friendly, accomodating and prioritised safety. The location was so so cute, I loved the buildings architecture and the way the place made you feel like you were in a completely different country. Our rock climbing guide was so fun and friendly. The activities we chose, the rock climbing, cliff jump and walking pass was a 2 hour pass, and that was enough for us (it was tiring too haha so be prepared). Highly recommend for some outdoor challenges and new experiences.
