Peppermint Bay's half-day Cruise & Lunch showcases the very best of Australia's southernmost district. Cruising every Sunday, experience a celebration of the produce, seafood and landscapes that shape this incredible region. Begin the day departing from the Hobart waterfront at 10:30am and enjoy a leisurely 1.5 hr cruise down the coast into the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Along the way you'll learn about the region's history, landmarks and buildings, whilst taking in spectacular scenery. You'll most likely spot some of our iconic wildlife, from seals to sea eagles and perhaps even dolphins or whales. Upon arriving at Peppermint Bay in Woodbridge, take a stroll through the grounds before being treated to a set menu featuring the best, fresh seasonal produce they can lay their hands on. Using ingredients from the globally renowned agricultural area of the Huon Valley, the waters surrounding Bruny Island and what they're growing in their own garden. After a long lunch, punctuated by local wines, craft beers and a couple of small surprises, you'll return to the luxury catamaran to cruise back to Hobart in quiet comfort, maybe indulging in a Tasmanian whisky or digestif before returning ashore at 4pm.

Explore the River Derwent on board our 23m catamaran, Peppermint Bay II. With an expert guide and skipper at the helm, this cruise uncovers the waterway's rich European and Indigenous heritage. Discover its striking geology and geography, keep an eye out for wildlife, and navigate past many iconic landmarks including the Shot Tower, Alum Cliffs and Iron Pot Lighthouse.
