Mövenpick Hotel Hobart

Loved our stay. Couldn’t have asked for more. When we arrived, we were greeted on a Friday night by Claudia and another gentlemen who could not have done more for us. After a long day on the road, we received a really warm welcome. Our rooms were amazing. The view from the city suite was stunning. Comfortable beds, great location. Would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. The concierge, front desk team, and housekeeping staff were all outstanding and made the stay feel welcoming and well cared for. The only disappointment was breakfast, where the service did not match the high standard experienced throughout the rest of the hotel. Restaurant and room-service choices also felt quite limited for guests with dietary requirements.

Very comfortable hotel in a good location in town and a very short walk to the harbour and information centre where many day tours leave. Lots to do in the area and the bus tour up mount Wellington gives great views if weather allows. The hotel restaurant is fairly small for the size of the hotel. We managed to get into the restaurant on our first night and the food was good. On our 2nd night the hotel restaurant was fully booked but we had a great meal at Fish Frenzie on the wharf just 5 minutes walk away. Hotel breakfast was excellent and rooms are comfortable. The hotel serves complimentary chocolates at 3.30. I would return to the Movenpik if I ever go back to Hobart.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, right in the heart of Hobart CBD, making it super convenient to explore the city. The room was one of the neatest and cleanest I’ve ever seen, and the full buffet breakfast was fantastic. The TV with Foxtel was a nice touch for some relaxation. I also highly recommend the excellent chocolate session if you can make it. There was absolutely nothing to find an issue with, even if you’re being picky. Highly recommended!
