Sydney Zoo

Great place to spend the day with kids! The picnic area is spacious, clean, and perfect for families. We enjoyed seeing the rhinos, crocodiles, lions, tigers, hyenas, dingoes, elephants, zebras, camels, and many other animals. The reptile section was adventurous with dark atmosphere , and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The only downside is that the ticket prices are a bit expensive, but overall it was a fun and enjoyable family day out. The build up of ICEaged theme brings out our childhood 😎😊

Fantastic zoo experience. Well-designed grounds. Plenty of places to stop, sit, and watch your favourite animals or enjoy some food. ​Food options are what you would expect, but at the same time, they offer better value and quality than other similar venues. ​You can do the zoo in two hours if you're short on time, but I would recommend planning for at least three hours. That said, you can easily spend longer sitting and enjoying the zoo grounds, or, if you're with kids, letting them play in the playground. ​The zoo was easy to get around and highly accessible with no stairs. ​Highly recommend taking the time to visit.

First time visiting and was impressed with the cleanliness, flat wide walking paths and general appearance. Lots of greenery/ trees and artistic installations throughout the walk. Saw plenty of animals in well equipped outdoor areas. Decent cafe available with some tables viewing meerkat enclosure directly. Mobility scooters for those who require them at the front entrance. Particular note are the very attractive indoor displays. A little pricey but the presentation,amenities and animals are worthy recipients of the dollars spent. All staff/ keepers we interacted with were very friendly and informative.

Absolutely loved Sydney Zoo. Great place to take kids in western Sydney. Went during the week, was busy but not crowded. Lots of school excursions on the day we went so saw school groups taking part in educational programs and activities. Beautifully landscaped and easy to walk around and push a pram. The Africa exhibit was excellent and they just had a new addition with a baby giraffe. Highly recommend visiting
