Busselton Jetty, Train Ride and Underwater Observatory
Take a train ride into the ocean and discover breathtaking coastal beauty. Go underwater and learn about Dolphins in Bunbury. After your city accommodation pick up, they travel south passing by the townships of Rockingham and Mandurah to reach the heritage-listed 152-year-old Busselton Jetty. Busselton was a popular farming and forest town in years past as well as a major export port for West Australian products. The heritage-listed Busselton Jetty extends 1.8 kilometres across the stunning Geographe Bay and is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. At your own leisure, you may embark on a train ride along the jetty across the calm waters of Geographe Bay. Descend eight metres below the ocean floor to view the awe-inspiring Underwater Observatory, where you will discover sub-tropical corals, sponges, invertebrates and schools of fish that thrive in the area. Mandurah Canals and Dolphin Watch Cruise
Mandurah is one of the only places in the world where you will see wild Bottlenose dolphins swimming and playing in their natural environment in close proximity to your cruise boat. Take in the sights of the Swan River, the Bell Tower and Kings Park as they drive past on the way to the canals of Mandurah. Once in Mandurah board your one-hour dolphin and scenic canal cruise and head out on the water to see playful dolphins in their natural habitat. The local dolphins – bottlenose dolphins (tursiops truncatus), are very friendly and often you will notice them playing in the wake of your cruise boat. Normal dolphins are approximately three metres long and live up to approximately 30 years, and can swim 40 kilometres an hour. Cruise past the town of Mandurah and admire the majestic homes on the banks of the estuary.
Yanchep, Koalas and Crystal Cave
Embark on an adventure ride north of Perth to see native Australian kangaroos and birdlife. Take a walk amongst giant trees like Banksia, Tuart, Marri, Jarrah and Paper Bark varieties in the park.
