About

The Foreshore Flow is a spectacular 19km one-way coastal trail connecting the Rockingham Foreshore to Port Kennedy. Designed as a shared pathway for cyclists and pedestrians, it offers a relaxed journey along some of the region's most stunning coastline, making it popular with commuters, recreational riders, walkers and families alike.

Following the shoreline, the trail showcases breathtaking views across Cockburn Sound and Warnbro Sound, with plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery. Along the route, visitors can take in the beauty of the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, where turquoise waters, limestone reefs and white sandy beaches create a picture-perfect coastal landscape. Look offshore to spot Penguin Island, Seal Island and other nearby islands that form part of this internationally significant marine environment.

The trail passes through parks, beaches, picnic areas, cafés and local landmarks, offering plenty of places to rest and soak up the atmosphere. Wildlife enthusiasts may also spot seabirds and other coastal species while enjoying the sea breeze and ocean views.

In addition to being a fantastic cycling route, the Foreshore Flow offers several shorter walking options, including sections between Palm Beach and the Rockingham Foreshore, Shoalwater Bay and Safety Bay, or Port Kennedy Beach and the Warnbro Beach Lookout.
