Kangaroo Inn brings to Perth an invigorating modern twist to the traditional inn, offering a combination of private and shared rooms all in a shared bathroom configuration.
The private rooms include queen, king single, family and two-bed bunk room configurations accommodating between one and five people. The shared rooms include six-bed, four-bed and two-bedroom configurations and are booked by the bed.
All guests enjoy in-room luxuries such as 4-star beds (either king single or queen size), hotel-grade linen and reverse cycle Daikin air-conditioning. Private room guests also enjoy a 32-inch LED LCD television and in-room safe. Shared room guests are provided with lockers to secure their belongings.
Kangaroo Inn also offers guests free WiFi, computer terminals, luxury European bathrooms, a fully equipped self-service kitchen, and plenty of communal spaces to socialise or simply read a good book. Of course, good old-fashioned service comes as standard.

What this place offers
Ladies Only
Just like the 4 Bed shared rooms but for ladies only. The rooms are well appointed with power points available for you to charge your electronic devices, desk, air conditioning and heating, low glare room lighting as well as LED reading lights for every bed. Your room and possessions will be well secured with RFID security access locks and personal storage lockers (please bring your own padlock). Beds are made with quality linen and towels are provided. These rooms are generally booked on a per-bed basis. However, they can also be booked by the room, making them excellent for groups of friends travelling together.
King Single Room
What is there not to like about the King Single Rooms? With a hotel-grade mattress and linen, you'll have a blissful night's rest. Too lazy to go downstairs and watch television in the home theatre? Not a problem, your room features its own 32-inch LCD television. Need to do some work? Easily solved, they provide you with your own desk, chair and free WiFi access. All single rooms have individually controlled thermostats so you can have heating and cooling when you want and at the temperature and intensity you want. For your security and peace of mind, guest doors are fitted with RFID card access and an electronic in-room safe is also fitted.
4 Bed Bunk
Just like the 6 Bed shared rooms, only better. These rooms are for those who not only want a comfortable night's rest but also want to chill in their rooms during the day. Rooms are well appointed with multiple power points for you to charge your electronic devices, a desk to work on, low glare room lighting as well as LED reading lights for every bed. Your room and possessions will also be well secured with RFID security access locks and personal storage lockers (please bring your own padlock). Linen and towels are included. The 4 Bed rooms are generally booked on a per-bed basis, however, you can also book by the room, making them an excellent choice for small groups travelling together.
Family Room
With one queen-sized bed and three king-size beds, the Family Room is able to accommodate up to five people at a time. Why spend more money on accommodation than you really have to, especially when you will be spending most of your time outside? Despite the budget price tag, your family won't be roughing it when you stay in the Family Room. With premium hotel-grade mattresses and linen, you'll sleep in comfort. The room is also fitted with a 32-inch LCD television, Daikin reverse-cycle air-conditioning, desk, in-room safe, open plan wardrobe as well as an electronic door lock. The Family Rooms are also great for groups of mates travelling together. Rooms are booked on a per-room basis.
Queen Room
The Queen Room is ideal for couples travelling on a budget. Queen Room guests will enjoy a cosy yet well-appointed room featuring a queen spring bed, 32-inch Toshiba LED television, electronic safe, wardrobe, desk and room-controlled reverse cycle air-conditioning. There are plenty of power points to charge your electronic devices and WiFi access is available (charges may apply). Linen and towels are provided as standard. Regardless if you are sleeping, working or simply relaxing in your room, the essential comforts of a hotel room are all squeezed into the petite Queen Room.
2 Bed Bunk
These rooms provide the best stay experience possible in a shared room. The 2 Bed rooms are well-appointed with plenty of space, privacy and a variety of standard amenities including LED reading lights, premium room-controlled air-conditioning, and even a writing desk with multiple power points. There are also personal storage lockers for your peace of mind. The beds are hotel grade with freshly prepared bedding, linen and towels provided. The 2 Bed shared rooms are available to be booked on either a per bed or per room basis.
6 Bed Bunk
The priority when fitting out the 6 Bed rooms was on maximising guest sleeping comfort in a shared room. The piece-de-resistance of these rooms is the beds themselves, which are king single in size. Each bed has a reading light and the room has reverse-cycle air-conditioning. There are also in-room lockers as well as secure RFID room access for your peace of mind. Linen, bedding and towels are provided. The 6 Bed rooms are generally booked on a per-bed basis. However, you can also book by the room, making them perfect for group travel such as sports clubs.
