About

Kimberley Coastal Camp is one of Australia's most remote and exclusive wilderness retreats, accessible only by helicopter or floatplane from Broome or Kununurra and limited to just 16 guests at a time.

Set on the pristine shores of the Admiralty Gulf in the North Kimberley, the camp sits lightly on one of the planet's last truly untouched coastlines. Six private bungalows each face sweeping sea views, with unique outdoor ensuite bathrooms and an open-air design built around the landscape, not imposed on it. Solar-powered and solar-heated, every element is designed to leave the wilderness exactly as you found it.

The experience is shaped by two people: Tubs, an expert Kimberley guide and fisherman, and Jules, a trained chef who turns the day's catch into something extraordinary. Barramundi grilled at the water's edge. Mud crab cooked three ways. Locally harvested oysters, served alongside an open bar of quality wine, beer and spirits. The food and fishing here are not incidental- they are the destination.

Beyond the water, ancient rock art galleries, remote island picnics, wildlife encounters, and Kimberley sunsets over the Gulf fill the days. No set itineraries. No crowds. No compromise.

Rooms

Rooms

Rooms at Kimberley Coastal Camp sit lightly on the ground and that is deliberate. With only six private bungalows on the property, each room is its own quiet world, open to sea breezes and Admiralty Gulf views on all sides. Walls rise only to waist height before giving way to full-height flyscreening under a steeply pitched roof, designed to pull in the Kimberley breeze and keep the landscape in constant view. There are no windows to close, no curtains to draw. The Gulf is always with you. Inside, five-star twin or king beds are dressed in luxurious Sheridan linens. Handmade timber furniture, 24-hour solar power, reading lamps and a generous ceiling fan complete the space. Each bungalow includes a unique outdoor ensuite bathroom. Private, open-air, and utterly Kimberley. Families travelling with children are accommodated thoughtfully. Room configurations can often be arranged so children sleep alongside parents, speak directly with the team about what works for your group. This is not a resort room. It is a considered space in one of Australia's most remote and extraordinary environments. Comfortable enough that you never think about comfort, open enough that the wilderness is always present.
