Sir Charles Kingsford Smith Memorial and Lookout

It's a beautiful lookout point and a great way of remembering an important piece of history. Having said that, it's very small, the view is substantially obscured by the nearby houses, and there are much better views available nearby. Good to stop off at, but nothing incredible.

This one is easy to miss as it's just as you turn onto the road. Between 5 and 10 carparks available. Nice view of 7 mile beach. Shrubs from neighbouring properties are fairly tall and do block some of the view.

Coming up a hill, the road curves left and you see a sign at the last minute saying Kingsford Smith Lookout. You've got a split decision to make: slam the brake and make a hard right turn, or go further up the road and make a U-turn. Glad I made that U-turn. The little beach down the road from the lookout was picturesque as well. Recommended.
