From booking through to our drop-off, the Sail Ningaloo team provided exceptional service. We expected our 5 night experience on the boat to be great fun - as scuba divers we are always happy to be in the water - we didn't expect the whole experience to be as superbly curated, organised and delivered at every stage of every day. Our incredibly thoughtful team, Dom, Josh and Sandra, could not have been more obliging and professional. Our dives were well selected for the conditions, all equipment is high quality and well-maintained, site briefings were thorough and the dives were all safe, relaxed and fun. We also snorkeled and would not hesitate to recommend this for non-divers as the reef is so shallow, much of the wildlife and the corals are on display from the surface. We feel privileged to be able to spend time in this pristine environment. We saw almost no other boats and we had every dive site to ourselves. A personal highlight was the grey shark cleaning station where - for 45 minutes - we watched at least 12 grey sharks having their teeth cleaned by wrasse. Amazing. The team also managed my partner's complicated dietary needs- nothing was too much trouble and every meal was excellent. We are telling everyone we know to do this.
Sailed for 6 days with Dom, Josh and Sandra. The most amazing trip, a fabulous region to explore improved by the expert curation and wonderful and considered care demonstrated by the crew. The knowledge of the location and sea life was fantastic, exceeded only by their evident passion for the environment. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. A special shout out to the support and administration team who make whole trip run so smoothly.
Omg, how amazing! It rained for a full day, apparently 1 day a month, but that didn't dampen our experience. Charlie, Emma and Hendrick were so supportive and friendly. Snorkelling 3 or 4 times a day with mantas, sharks, turtles, so many fish, sailing with no motor and yummy food. We loved the whole experience, until next time!
A huge thank you to the crew of 'Shore Thing'. Jesse, Gloria & Zara, you guys are awesome, and you made my time on board very comfortable. The snorkelling was first class, and your expert knowledge and experience allowed me to see a great biodiversity of marine life on the reef. The food you served was delicious and the deluxe cabin was very comfortable. Thank you again for showing me around the Ningaloo Reef. I can highly recommend this trip to anyone, and I hope to be back on board again one day.
More than one of us felt like crying at the end of our 5 night trip and I can’t think of the last time that happened. The very professional crew worked so well together. Dom has excellent boating skills and we felt safe in his hands steering us on the reef. Josh is a great dive master and his knowledge and passion for marine life shone through. Libby changed from mermaid in a wetsuit to deliver us food in a moment. None of them could have done more. We swam with a dugong, turtles, sharks, so many fish and such gorgeous coral. Whales broached and swam along side us. The sail with unexpected large wave and unintentioned splash of a resting honeymooner below decks was memorable. Such a fantastic experience.
