About

The Tamworth Wetlands Loop is a peaceful 4 kilometre circular trail in Baldivis, offering an easy and scenic nature escape just 45 minutes south of Perth. Popular with walkers, trail runners, cyclists and birdwatchers, the trail winds through picturesque wetlands and areas of native bushland, providing a relaxing outdoor experience for visitors of all ages.

The route meanders beneath a canopy of tuart and banksia trees, with much of the trail enjoying welcome shade throughout the year. Along the way, visitors can enjoy views of the wetlands and observe the rich biodiversity that makes this reserve such an important habitat. Bird enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to spot a variety of native bird species in their natural environment, while the tranquil surroundings make it easy to slow down and connect with nature.

While generally easy to navigate, some sections may experience seasonal flooding during wetter months, so checking conditions and wearing appropriate footwear is recommended.

Dog-friendly (dogs must be on a leash), the Tamworth Wetlands Loop is perfect for a leisurely stroll, morning run or quiet wildlife walk. Combining scenic wetland views, native woodland and abundant birdlife, this accessible trail offers a rewarding experience for nature lovers seeking a peaceful retreat within the City of Rockingham.
