The House of Honey offers a unique honey, bee and food experience in the heart of the Swan Valley.
Visitors can discover the fascinating world of bees and learn how honey travels from hive to jar. A live observation hive provides a close-up look at busy bees at work.
The honey tasting station is a highlight. Visitors can taste a selection of pure Western Australian varietal honeys. Each honey has its own flavour, colour and character, reflecting the forests and wildflowers visited by the bees.
The House of Honey specialises in pure, unblended and unheated Western Australian honey. Careful extraction helps retain the honey's natural flavour and goodness.
The retail store features honey, beeswax candles, bee pollen, honey vinegar, giftware, natural beauty products and other bee-inspired products.
Visitors can also explore the Meadery and discover mead, an ancient wine made from honey. A selection of meads and honey liqueurs is available for tasting, with Western Australian cheese available to complement the experience.
The Sticky Spoon Cafe and garden terrace provide a relaxing place to enjoy tea, coffee and honey-inspired treats. A traditional Devonshire tea is another visitor favourite.
The House of Honey brings together bees, honey, local produce, food and mead in one destination. It is an authentic Swan Valley experience with something for visitors of all ages to discover, taste and enjoy.

A must visit in Swan Valley! Staff were all so knowledgeable and lovely, I had a great time sampling the Meads & Honey and learning more about them. I ended up spending alot more money and time than I expected to but I was a very happy consumer! Enjoyed the Gelato at the cosy cafe area too.
The place offers a variety of honey and also other honey based products. There are soaps, wine and others to look at. Even souvenirs as well. The wine section gave us some for tasting. The taste of the Ruby Red was so good we got a bottle to bring back! Had coffee at the cafe. The barista offered to add honey in the latte, the taste was good! A must try!
We brought our honey-loving guests who were visiting Perth here, and it was the perfect place to start the day with a delicious breakfast. When I made the reservation, I mentioned that it was my friend’s birthday, and the team kindly prepared a surprise gift for her — such a thoughtful touch that made our visit extra special. All the staff were incredibly friendly, and the whole space felt warm and welcoming. We were able to taste all the different honey varieties, and my friends were so happy that they ended up buying lots of honey to take home. Highly recommended — a truly lovely experience. We can’t wait to come back again soon❤️
Came here to get some honey for souvenir to bring back for our family members. Amazed at the collection of items available for sales, and we also spend a while looking at the observations hive which is something interesting to us. The staff is very patient and professional, listen to our preference before recommending the type of honey to us, and answering to our questions. My kid was super disappointed when she accidentally drop the lollipop on the ground and broke it as she was unwrapping the wrapper, one of the staff who witness this actually gave us an replacement out of good will and we are super grateful to her for making her day.
Great place for finding gifts! They have fun stuff like an ice cream section where I got honeycomb and macademia ice cream. It tasted really good. They have a bunch of other desserts like cakes. They also obviously have a bunch of honey and a tasting bar where you can sample more than ten honeys before buying something. I bought lavendar honey and some other honey. They also have a cafe outside where I got a really good meat pie.
