The museum contains more than 100 consoles, representing the evolution—and sometimes revolution—that occurred from the 1970s through the 2000s.
Go behind the scenes of your favorite games and consoles, learning about the tremendous work that went into them and how they established a foundation for the consoles of today.
Play a plethora of classic video games, replaying games from your childhood or making entirely new discoveries. Play a round of Pong, challenge a friend to a high score in Space Invaders or blast through levels of Super Mario Bros, Sonic the Hedgehog, Alex Kidd and Crash Bandicoot. This is merely scratching the surface.
Relive your childhood, discover gaming's sometimes secret history and plant appreciation for old-school gaming in a younger generation.
The Nostalgia Box is easily accessible by City Green Cat from the city centre of Perth or the City West Train Station. Parking is also available close by.
Coolest place in Perth with vibe to match. We spent ages here looking at the museum items, taking a walk down memory lane. The place has lots of stations set up where you can play games from the 80’s through to the 10’s. The collection is wild, definitely a great place to chill for the afternoon. We parked at Scitech and walked over to the location.
Awesome place -part museum, part gaming arcade. So many old gaming machines, many I've never heard of but all the Sega, Artari, Nintendo gear on display. Loads of games in their original cases, that you can ask to play. But there is a large area dedicated to dozens of games setup and ready to play - Frogger, Guitar Hero, Time Crisis etc etc. You can play all day IF they don't have a function booked, so definitely check the website to see if some sessions are booked|blocked out. What a blast...
Such an amazing place. Great for the young or old. So much history and so much fun to be had with such an amazing range of games and gaming consoles to choose from!! Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed with visiting here!! We will definitely be back!!
Amazing place to spend a day, my boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Took us back in time walking through the museum part and then the excitement of getting to play unlimited games. Definitely worth it and what makes it even better is the super energy from Dave, who was so welcoming and ensured we had a good time. The ticket gives you gaming time for the whole day, we went out for lunch and came back to continue our gaming. We will for sure visit again soon 👌 Adding a picture of Dave in his elements.
I went to the Maid with Love Cafe event collab with Nostalgia Box. The owner Dave even catered the high tea to be dairy free for me with loads of options and plenty to take home. He went the extra mile and researched that he could provide me with an amazing high tea experience before he let me buy my ticket. There was tea, apple juice, water also offered. The collaboration ran from 10 am until around 11:30 am, but everyone was free to stay and play games, socialize, and hang out. Dave, even set some food aside for my friend who was going to be late to the event due to work. He is definitely an accommodating person. Between this kindness and even taking time to research to supply dairy free for me. He even dressed up as a butler for the event. Dave was such a great person and made the event very welcoming. He has gone way above and beyond! I’m so happy that I got to take part at this event. Most of the attendees stayed around to hang out, make friends, socialize, and play games. We ended up staying a couple hours after the event because the vibes were just so fun and relaxing. Nostalgia Box has a video game museum, and even old school consoles for you to try out and play. Definitely a place where everyone can find something fun to play. Friendly for most ages.
