Camel’s Hump Lookout Walk is accessed approximately 2 kilometres south of Hawker on Quorn road. This is also a very easy walk from the town and is a short climb for panoramic views of Hawker and the ranges. This is an activity close to Hawker and is an ideal spot for photographers.
Early morning and evening walkers usually see kangaroos, Lizards (gidgee skinks) and birds. From this point and Castle Rock lookout just east of Hawker, great photos can be taken in the low-angle light early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
Located on the outskirts of Hawker this is definitely one of the easier to climb lookouts. From the smallish car park area up to the summit is an easy 210 metres walk along an easy to navigate trail. The views are worth it, especially on a nice, sunny day.

There is an easy to medium path to the peak with easy climb onto the top of the rock.
There are views of the Elder ranges and Rawnsley Bluff.

This look out is higher and better positioned than Castle Rock. A great spot to watch sunset.

Short walk from the sign. Park on the side of the busy road. Views in all directions.
