Bay and Basin Leisure Centre

My kids absolutely love this place. The slide is reasonably priced for unlimited, there is a large kids pool, a babies splash pool and a lap pool. The cafe is nice with good food and coffee. The toilet and shower facilities with two family rooms are great, but I question how often they are cleaned. There are disgustingly oily marks all around the lower parts of the walls in the showers, there is clumps of hair and rubbish everywhere. I was frankly shocked at how dirty it was. Thinking it was a once off due to school holidays I returned a few days later and there was no improvement, it obviously hadn’t been cleaned. This rating would easily be a strong 5/5 if you use some bleach and scrubbing brushes and cleaned those facilities. It really should be done daily.

I had a great time at the pools thanks to the workers. George and Jessie were great. I will Definetly be coming back!!

Kids loved the waterslide and played happily here for the best part of the day! Kiosk is limited, but hot chips were good and kept the kids happy.
