On Cockatoo Lane is a private retreat in the Barossa, created for slowing down, settling in and giving you time to be.
The Barn was rebuilt from the ruins of an original outbuilding and sits on private acres amongst old red gums and grazing kangaroos. Inside, there's an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space, king bedroom, three-way bathroom and a large deck overlooking the property.
Come for the Barossa, but give yourself permission to enjoy the place you're staying.
Watch kangaroo joeys finding their feet in the paddock. Listen to kookaburras laugh in the evenings. In the garden, vegetables and herbs grow just metres from your door, ready to be picked and from garden to plate within minutes.
Come sunset, the deck beckons for a glass of wine and nowhere else to be. Once the sun goes down, the dark skies are undisturbed.
We're chefs, with an accredited commercial kitchen here at On Cockatoo Lane. A generous breakfast pack is included with every stay, filled with local produce and homemade treats.
Spend your days exploring the Barossa, or simply stay put. Chef-prepared meal packs are available to preorder, ready for you to finish in The Barn. Our wine list features local favourites at cellar-door prices.
On Cockatoo Lane is under an hour from Adelaide and around 20 minutes from the heart of the Barossa Valley.
