Samurai Teppanyaki House is a live teppanyaki restaurant on King William Road in Hyde Park, Adelaide, where chefs cook every course on the grill in front of guests.
In 2019 it became Australia's first restaurant licensed to serve genuine Kobe Beef. The menu also features Japanese A5 Wagyu, Australian Fullblood Wagyu, fresh seafood and vegetarian courses, cooked to order with skilful knife work and a touch of theatre. Guests can choose a set course or leave it to the chef with an omakase menu.
The restaurant holds an AGFG Chef Hat for 2025 and 2026, and has been a Restaurant & Catering SA Awards finalist for Steak Restaurant (Formal) three years running.
Three private dining rooms, from an intimate room for nine to a room for 40, each come with a dedicated chef cooking at the table. The whole restaurant can be booked for larger celebrations. Away from the restaurant, the team brings live teppanyaki catering to homes and venues across Adelaide.
Open since 2012, Samurai Teppanyaki House suits birthdays, corporate dinners, family celebrations and date nights. Bookings recommended.
