Six generations of the Beerenberg family have lived and farmed on the Beerenberg family farm in Hahndorf, South Australia, since 1839.

Today, they’re still 100% family-owned and all their delicious homemade Australian jams, chutneys, gourmet relishes, and sauces are made right here.

They can’t wait for you to visit their strawberry farm in Hahndorf and experience the joys of picking your own strawberries and exploring their farm shop. Enjoy fresh food and icecream in the farm cafe, and take part in tastings, cooking demonstrations and more.

Pick Your Own Strawberries

The perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon with friends or family. Enjoy the simple pleasure of picking your own strawberries every season (November to April). There's nothing like the taste of freshly picked strawberries. It's hard to describe the juiciness and flavours – you won't find them at any supermarket! And there's no better day out with the family than hunting through their patch to find the perfect strawberry. When you arrive at Beerenberg, head to the Farm Shop to pay the entry fee. It's just AUD5 per person (12 years and under are free) to enter the patch, and pay for the weight of any berries you pick.
