Streaky Bay Great White Shark Replica

The Great White Shark Replica in Streaky Bay is one of the town's most popular and photographed attractions.

The full-size fiberglass model measures over 5 metres long and was built to represent a great white shark caught off Streaky Bay in 1990, at the time, one of the largest ever recorded.

The replica highlights Streaky Bay's connection to the surrounding marine environment and the great white shark, a species often found in the waters of the Eyre Peninsula.

Located inside the Shell Service Station on Alfred Terrace, it is an easy stop for visitors to view, take photos, and learn more about the region's unique marine life.
