Baandee Salt & Seed is a peaceful, low-impact camping experience set among shallow salt lakes, seasonal waterways, native bushland and open country. There are no powered sites, cabins, playgrounds or resort facilities here. Just space, fresh air, wildlife, big skies and the freedom to experience the landscape at your own pace. Wake to spectacular sunrises over the water, spend the day exploring, then watch the landscape transform again as the sun sets. Once darkness arrives, the stars come out in force. With minimal light pollution, Baandee is a wonderful place for stargazing and astro photography, with wide-open skies stretching above your campsite. Bring your binoculars and keep an eye out for the local birdlife. Explore the shallow waters by SUP when conditions allow, take a bike ride through the property, discover seasonal wildflowers, or simply find a quiet spot and listen to the bush. Families and kids are welcome, with plenty of room to roam, explore and enjoy being outdoors. This is camping with a purpose.
