About

Mount Compass is where the Fleurieu Peninsula turns properly country. Around 58 kilometres south of Adelaide, this farming district sits between McLaren Vale and the southern coast, surrounded by green pastures, productive farms and winding roads through Nangkita and Tooperang.

Food and produce are a big part of the story here. Follow the Mount Compass Produce & Tourism Trail between farm gates, local producers, galleries and rural experiences, or head to Harvest the Fleurieu for seasonal pick-your-own strawberries, local produce and something good from the café.

For time outdoors, the Mount Compass Golf Course sits among the district's rolling landscape, while the local recreation park includes a skate park, BMX track and open play spaces.

Its central location also makes Mount Compass a handy base for exploring more of the Fleurieu, with McLaren Vale, Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Goolwa and the coast all within easy reach.
