About

The Batemans Bay Cycleway is an amazing, scenic and family-friendly ride on the Eurobodalla South Coast. The cycleway is mainly flat and hugs the beautiful bay, passing many waterfront cafes and restaurants along the way.

The suggested start is Corrigans Reserve at Corrigans Beach in Batehaven, five kilometres east of the Batemans Bay town centre, where you'll find picnic tables, barbecues, a liberty swing, a children's fun area and plenty of parking. When you return, take a dip in the calm beach waters, then enjoy a picnic lunch, or just cross the road to a cafe or restaurant if you're too puffed.

To ride, follow the cycleway into Batemans Bay and over the bridge, then veer north into Wharf Road. Continue to the end of Myamba Parade, where you can leave the bike and walk the Cullendulla Boardwalk, a wonderful wetland walk through the mangroves and an extremely important part of the Batemans Bay ecosystem. The return trip is about 18 kilometres of sightseeing and enjoyment.

The mangrove boardwalk is in Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve, where pets are not permitted, except certified assistance animals. The beach and boardwalk is around 2 kilometre return, about 30 minutes to an hour.
