Yarrawarra is situated in the homelands of the Garby Elders and the Gumbaynggirr people. Surrounded by tranquil bushland, pristine beaches and abundant wildlife. The Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre boasts a first-rate Bush Tucker Cafe, an exceptional Indigenous art gallery, cultural programs, accommodation and a conference centre. Special events include Aboriginal art classes, Gumbaynggirr history and story sessions, dance and music classes, clay modelling, traditional basket weaving, and tours of Aboriginal sites.
The gallery features a keeping place with a variety of Indigenous artefacts and historical treasures, as well as an extensive display of regionally produced traditional and contemporary arts and crafts, books, CDs and giftware.

Was welcomed by lovely staff member who was happy to help and was informative. There are wonderful rotating exhibitions of local and other indigenous artists across the coutry, paintings and some clothing, jewellery weaving etc available for purchase. Recommend you sit in the comfy padded chair which triggers the audio dreamtime stories. Also a small interesting museum packed with artefacts photos and writing about indigenous history in Red Rock.There is also a cafe, which I looked nice.

Such a special place. The preservation of local history at Blood Rock is so important and it is done beautifully. The media works were my favourite with the video and listening pods moving me to tears. I went with a dog and couldn't take her in, but a gorgeous fellow posted outside hung out with her while I explored

Nothing like growing up in Coffs Harbour & didn't even know this existed. Wow!! This centre is so worth going to and I was so fortunate to meet Lilly, the Artist who just happened to have created most of the artwork I captured. Thank you Yarrawarra, I am really looking forward to my next visit 🖤❤💛🖼🎨💯👌🙏
