About

Spirits of Time and Place Sculpture Trail is an outdoor public art experience located within GJ Hosken Reserve in Altona North. Created by renowned local artist Geoffrey Ricardo, the trail features a series of striking three metre high sculptures inspired by the natural environment, cultural heritage and industrial history of the Kororoit Creek landscape.

Set among open parkland and native vegetation, the artworks invite visitors to explore stories of place through a unique blend of art and nature. The sculptures form part of a landscape that has been transformed through decades of community effort and environmental restoration, creating a rich habitat for local plants, birds and wildlife.

Spirits of Time and Place offers a distinctive cultural experience in Melbourne's west, attracting visitors interested in public art, photography, local history and the natural environment.
