Yarrangobilly Caves – River walk

The place is gorgeous, but the water is not hot. It's 22ºC, and warm water to me is something around 32ºC. But if it's a nice day out, it'll feel great. We really liked the region - the cave self-guided hike and the river walk that connects the cave to the pool. Worth checking out! There are bathrooms and change rooms by the pool.

As you meander along the path, you'll be surrounded by a rich tapestry of native vegetation and may even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife, although it's worth noting that snakes are occasionally spotted in the area. Conveniently, there are changing rooms and restrooms available, ensuring your comfort throughout your visit. The area features two pools, one for adults and another for children, offering a delightful experience for visitors of all ages. The journey to the pool presents captivating scenery, adding to the enchantment of the experience. Additionally, there are charming picnic tables set near the flowing river, providing the perfect spot to relax and unwind after your exploration.

Totally a different experience. Better to call it an adventure than a hot and relaxing hotspring swim. The Temperature is not very high for winter. But you'll find it so beautiful. Definitely worth to visit. *Nearest parking area to the thermal pool is 700m away. It is a walking distance with sharp slope.

Just $4 entry for the pool. There was no one else except kangaroos! It was 6° outside but the water was nice and warm. Amazing experience, definitely worth it.
