Stand Up Paddle Board lessons are a fantastic way to get yourself on the water and fit for life. Included in your stand-up paddle boarding lesson is a stand-up paddle board (Soft learner G board), paddle, PFD, wetsuit or rash shirt, sun screen, security storage and leg rope. Please bring your towel and swimwear as well as water and a change of clothes. Go Ride A Wave runs small class sizes for stand-up paddle boarding lessons, so booking in advance is essential. With small personal group sizes, you know that you will be well looked after and guaranteed a fantastic first experience. Lessons run for one and a half hours.

Private surf lessons are the best way to take your surfing to the next level quickly and safely. Our instructors will give you one-on-one attention to teach you the skills you need to advance, regardless of your skill level. We recommend private lessons for surfers who have already started learning the basics and want to improve more quickly, or for those who want personalised attention. Beginners can learn the basics just as easily in our public group lessons, but private lessons allow you to learn at your own pace and focus on the specific areas where you need the most help.

As the sun sets and the night sky comes to life, your adventure kicks off with a short kayak briefing on the riverbank. Then it's time to hit the water and take in the views as the river reflects the changing colours of the sky. As dusk settles and a light mist rises over the water, you'll switch on your headlight and start spotting native wildlife. Keep an eye out for kangaroos, possums, and a variety of local birdlife. The peaceful bends of the river lead you to a quiet spot where you'll stop to enjoy a warm drink or soup (provided). With the stars now shining bright overhead, your guide will point out the unique features of the Southern Sky, sharing insights into what makes it so special. Then, for a moment of calm, we'll switch off the lights and simply float - taking in the stillness, the stars, and the sounds of the night. You'll paddle back under moonlight, guided by your headlight and the reflection of the stars, a truly memorable way to experience the Great Ocean Road.
