Guests at Longitude 131° adopt the spirit of the original pioneers and after a day’s exploring relax in canopied pavilions recreated for the modern traveller. Custom designed furniture offers stylish lounging, whilst the 'Baillie Bed' holds centre stage. Unparalelled views of Uluru’s changing lights play out from the end of the bed, or outside from the warmth of a luxury swag unfurled in the cool night air.

Each 'tent' is named for an explorer or pioneer and framed artefacts offer a first-hand history and tales of a much tougher experience in the outback. Local indigenous artworks provide a colourful contrast to the pioneering past. An ensuite bathroom offers a generous rain shower, while the in-suite bar offers a selection of gourmet treats.

Dune Pavilion

The Dune Pavilion is Australia’s only accommodation offering views of both World Heritage-listed Uluru and Kata Tjuta. The pavilion offers separate living and sleeping areas featuring custom furnishings and artworks commissioned from local artists, sleek bathroom with deep tub and outdoor deck with the ultimate in desert glamour: a private plunge pool overlooking the outback frontier, for a personal nature-meets-luxury experience. Defined by uninterrupted views of Uluru, the Luxury Tent Premium View offers a refined take on campaign style. Warm timbers and First Nations artworks layer the story of an early Australian explorer or pioneer, while a king bed beneath the soaring canopy is dressed in fine linens and adjoins an ensuite with generous rain shower. Outside, a private balcony with armchairs and a green-fueled fireplace frames the view, while a custom swag unfurled on the daybed invites an unforgettable night beneath the southern sky.
