Aphelion Classic Cellar Door Tasting
Expect a warm welcome, delicious wines, and an unpretentious atmosphere while you take in the view at Aphelion'sMcLaren Vale cellar door. Sip, swirl and savour a winemaker-chosen selection of six of their currently available wines. Especially want to try something else? Just ask. Settle in by the floor-to-ceiling windows framing the vineyard. Or enjoy the fresh air on the verandah. Craft your ideal platter from their "make your own platter" station full of local delights, perfect savoured with a glass or bottle on our lawns or on the tasting deck (if available). Enjoy an unhurried tasting of the range and feel free to ask all your questions! Bookings are recommended for tastings. Groups larger than eight are by special arrangement. They do not take buses/mini buses. Inclusions: Guided tasting of 6 different wines Includes cellar door exclusives when available Your choice of seating either inside or on the verandah. Good to know before arrival: Tasting fee is redeemable on the purchase of a Wine Club Membership. Your tasting is at 67 Kays Road, McLaren Vale. Allow 1 hour for your tasting and optional nibbles. Includes filtered water and provision of spittoons. Drink well - not to excess.
Aphelion "Back Of The Ute" Vineyard Wine Tasting McLaren Vale
Picture standing amongst the vines of McLaren Vale, high on a hill with views like a painting. Add in a line up of exceptional wines from Aphelion artfully arranged on the back of a real work ute. An elegant glass in your hand and a breeze in your hair. Aphelion's highly awarded winemaker Rob Mack is your host for this leisurely and unpretentious tasting. No sharing either – it is exclusively for one group at a time. Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy after. Bookings are essential. Inclusions: Tastings of around seven different winemaker-selected wines. Includes cellar door exclusive wines when available. A truly authentic experience with the owner and winemaker Rob Mack as your host. An exclusive tasting for just you and your group. Stunning views in the real Aussie bush - priceless inclusion. What to know before your arrival: Tasting is at a Blewitt Springs vineyard. There are no toilet facilities. Dress for the weather. Allow one hour for your tasting. Includes filtered water. Drink well - not to excess. In adverse weather, your experience will be rescheduled or transferred by the organiser.

Sip, swirl and savour a winemaker-chosen selection of six of our currently available wines. Especially want to try something else? Just ask. Keep the experience going and craft your ideal platter from the "make your own platter" station with all of their favourite local delights (optional extra). Enjoy a glass or bottle with your feast after your tasting (optional extra). Enjoy an unhurried tasting of Aphelion's range - so feel free to ask as many questions as you like! Bookings are recommended for the Tasting Deck. We can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests on the Tasting Deck.
