The Italian word for nest is 'nido'. With a nod of gratitude to family members who arrived from Italy in the 1920’s and made the Adelaide Hills their home, Golding Wines have named their handcrafted nest experience NIDO'.

The Nido Experience is like no other. Lose yourself in the beauty of their Western Branch Vineyard as you while away an afternoon encased in our whimsical hand woven tasting nest, nestled among the trees on the highest slopes of the property.

Enjoy their award winning wines and share a seasonal five-course grazing lunch with friends in your own private space that will have you reminiscing of childhood tree houses and remind you that there is always room for a little whimsy with your wine.

The nest will be your exclusive space to enjoy for three hours. You can eat, drink, do a spot of nature watching, play a few games and chill out in one of the most unique spaces you will find at a cellar door. Golding Wines look forward to welcoming you in to their nest.

Enjoy our wines amongst the vines they originated from. Discover secluded locations and panoramic views as you traverse the undulating terrain of our Western Branch vineyard. Feel the breeze through your hair, the sun on your back and take in the stunning vistas that reveal themselves around every bend. Let us share with you our family's place in the Adelaide Hills and the journey that brought us here. Take a scenic tour of our Western Branch Vineyard, making multiple stops at our bespoke tasting platforms to enjoy a wine tasting with accompanying snacks. This experience culminates in a tasting on the Pinnacle deck at the highest point of our vineyard property where you will experience breath taking panoramic views of the Adelaide Hills wine region. On return to our cellar door you can enjoy a delicious seasonal lunch, prepared for you by our Head Chef, with accompanying paired wines, while you soak up the atmosphere in our beautiful sandstone Barn or, if the weather is fine, out on the garden terrace. The Perch Experience

Join us in our secluded nest, perched above the vines and designed for those who love to linger a little longer. The Perch Experience begins with a hosted Meet The Family premium wine flight, where we'll guide you through a curated tasting of our Portrait Series wines, sharing stories from the vineyard and the family members behind each bottle. After the hosted tasting, you'll choose your favourite wine to enjoy as a glass, accompanied by a gourmet seasonal grazing box created to complement the wines and showcase the best of South Australian produce. Then, we leave you to it. Settle in, take in the sweeping views, and enjoy some nest time - a truly unique space designed to elevate your tasting experience whilst emersed in nature. It's unhurried and thoughtfully curated, with a duration of two hours to ensure you can truly savour the occasion.
