Sailurunga Discover Sailing Adventures

Their main Sailurunga “Discover Sailing Adventure” is available to people of most abilities and is approximately a three-hour sail from Urunga To Mylestom Village and back plying the Kalang and Bellinger Rivers.

It is an ideal way for you and your family, friends or other small groups including those with some disabilities to experience the joy/art of small boat sailing on their appealing rivers.

On the way, you may be lucky and see dolphins, turtles and sea eagles among the myriad of life along the river’s shores. Tide permitting, you may even visit the remains of one of the historical “Droughers” that used to ply the rivers more than 120 years ago. At Mylestom you can take a break, (yes, there are clean toilets), enjoy the stunning river and mountain views, enjoy coffee, tea, hot muffins or the famous hot chips (or other) before heading back to Urunga.
