Hahndorf History Tour
You will eat food descended from recipes that crossed an ocean, taste strawberry jam from a family that has farmed here for six generations, and finish with a gin that reclaims the very name the government imposed to erase Hahndorf's German identity. Hahndorf sits in the Adelaide Hills, 28 kilometres south-east of the city, and it looks like a storybook version of a German village transplanted to the Australian bush. Which is exactly what it is. In 1838, a shipload of Lutheran families fleeing religious persecution in Prussia sailed into Port Adelaide aboard the Zebra. Their Danish captain, Dirk Hahn, personally negotiated their land, and they named their new home after him. This walking journey follows what happened next; Expect to walk under elms and chestnuts planted in 1885, past headstones inscribed in old German script, through a heritage building that has been a school, a seminary, a hospital, a dental surgery, and an art gallery. You will eat food descended from recipes that crossed an ocean, taste strawberry jam from a family that has farmed here for six generations, and finish with a gin that reclaims the very name the government imposed to erase Hahndorf's German identity.

McLaren Vale Wine and Heritage Tour
Expect about an hour and a quarter of driving spread across the day, with the route moving south and west from the heart of McLaren Vale to the dramatic coastal cliffs of Port Willunga. The stops mix cellar doors with heritage sites and coastal bushland, so the rhythm shifts between tasting, walking, and looking. The final location puts you on a cliff top above a shipwreck with a glass of local wine and fresh Gulf seafood — which is, frankly, a reasonable way to finish anything. Along the way, there is a five-storey architectural puzzle box, a slate quarry town built by Cornish immigrants, and a conservation park where the Kaurna people have cared for country for thousands of generations. Expect about an hour and a quarter of driving spread across the day, with the route moving south and west from the heart of McLaren Vale to the dramatic coastal cliffs of Port Willunga.

The Whale Road – Fleurieu Narrated Tour
Follow the southern coast whale road. Southern Ocean Encounters — Victor Harbor, Encounter Bay, Port Elliot, Goolwa — Southern Fleurieu, South Australia. From the brutal whaling era that first drew Europeans to these waters, through dramatic wildlife and wild coastline, to the Indigenous connection to this country, and finally to the meeting of Australia's greatest river with the Southern Ocean. An arc from exploitation to wonder, from harpoons to hope. Each location peels back a layer: The Hunt - The Station - The Crossing - The Wild Edge - The Harbour Table - The Quiet Shore - The Port - The Meeting of Waters.
