About

Come and escape with your family or friends to this tranquil home surrounded by nature. Bird-attracting plants surround the garden, encouraging honey eaters to add to the diverse and rich wildlife that also shares this space.

This area is a photographer's paradise, a birder's dream and an artist's inspiration.

Don't forget your binoculars, see the abundant bird life either from the comfort of your deck, or out and about on the property. Get lucky and you may catch a glimpse of the elusive lyrebird, gang-gang cockatoo, glossy black cockatoo or the brilliant satin bower bird. More commonly you will see fairy wrens, king parrots, spinebills, and kookaburras.

The Birds Nest

We are pleased to present Saltwater Creek – The Birds Nest, ideal for couples, singles, and romantic getaways. It is a photographer's paradise, a birder's dream and an artist's inspiration. Bring your binoculars and from the vantage point of your room, look out for fairy wrens hopping around or spinebills flitting about outside the window. Or if you're very lucky catch a glimpse of the elusive lyre bird. Go out and explore the property, with a good chance of seeing wallabies, or wombats at dusk. Or just bring a good book and chill out. Have shared access to the Bali Hut, a perfect spot to sit and take in the serenity with that little bit of a tropical feel. Have a chance to spot a kingfisher, goanna or a kangaroo coming to drink while you're there. Wind down for drinks outside around the firepit with the smell of the BBQ and admire the sunset gliding over the mountain, later replaced by moonlight and a myriad of stars on a dark night.
