Morning departure
Departure is from Surfers Paradise (departure time may vary depending on ocean conditions).
Arrival is at Coolangatta where guests will have time to grab a coffee, relax, and enjoy the coastal atmosphere while the instructors prepare the equipment and get everything ready for the lesson.
Surf lesson at Coolangatta
After coffee, it's straight into the surf.
Professional surf lessons are designed specifically for beginners, focusing on teaching the fundamentals, building confidence in the water, assessing level, and most importantly, getting up and riding waves.
Lunch at Byron Bay
After the surfing lesson, the group will head straight to Byron Bay, where lunch will be had and some time spent exploring the town centre, browsing local shops, and relaxing at Main Beach.
Afternoon and sunset
The group will head to Little Wategos Beach, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. Here, the real locals are dolphins and it's not uncommon to spot them passing by and playing in the waves.
As sunset approaches, the panoramic walk begins, stopping at lookout spots such as the most easterly point in Australia, before finishing the day at the lighthouse, watching the sunset.
