Discover Aboriginal culture and Country on Sydney Harbour with Konanggo Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Services. Led by an Aboriginal Cultural Educator, this small-group experience takes visitors on a guided Walk on Country through Berry Island Reserve and along the Berry Island Aboriginal Heritage Trail. Discover ancient shell middens and Aboriginal rock engravings while learning about the living culture, stories and traditions connected to the area. Hear about seasonal bush foods and plants, cultural knowledge and the enduring relationship Aboriginal people have with Country and the Sydney Harbour landscape. The experience includes cultural storytelling, bush food interpretation and light refreshments with bush food tasting samples overlooking Sydney Harbour. With a maximum of six guests, the experience provides an intimate opportunity to listen, learn and connect with Aboriginal culture and Country. Return transport from selected Sydney central business district hotels is included, travelling in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
