You will leave with a few crowns (hop plants) to plant yourself and everything you need to know about growing them at home. You’ll also get a complete ‘homebrew kit’ complete with our hop pellets, Voyager Craft Malt, Mogwai Labs yeast and a custom recipe exclusive to attendees. This workshop at Ryefield Hops is aimed for those keen to start growing hops in their backyard or for those eager to learn more. You will walk away with knowledge about where to plant your hops, how to care for them during the growing season and how to process and store your hops at home. You'll also get an in-depth tour of our field and processing shed to see how hops are grown on a commercial scale.
