Join the team at Wildlife Reimagined for an exciting expedition under the stars to observe and learn more about the wonderful nocturnal animals that call Canberra home. Shine your spotlight on endangered Greater Gliders as they go about their nightly business or hear Australia's largest owl calling to protect its territory. You may also come across possums, microbats, wombats, and wallabies as they emerge from their homes for the night.

Our night safari's run for approximately 4 hours. This includes pick up and drop off from a location of your choice in the ACT or Yass Valley Area and light refreshments.

Night Safari Canberra is an exciting expedition under the stars to observe and learn more about the wonderful nocturnal animals that call Canberra home. Shine your spotlight on endangered Greater Gliders as they go about their nightly business or hear Australia’s largest owl calling to protect its territory. You may also come across possums, microbats, wombats, and wallabies as they emerge from their homes for the night. Night Safari tours run for approximately four hours. This includes light refreshments, and pick up and drop off from a location of your choice in the ACT or Yass Valley Area.

Platypus

Half Day Canberra Wildlife Tour

Canberra is home to a multitude of unique and diverse wildlife, including the Platypus, Echidna and Gang Gang Cockatoo. Join Wildlife Reimagined as we head out to explore the foothills of the Brindabella Mountains in search of amazing wildlife. Highlights include searching for Platypus, watching flocks of Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos, observing Red-bellied Black Snakes (Summer only), hearing the incredible call of a Superb Lyrebird, plus more. Your guide will pick you up at a place of your choice at 7:30 am, and you will finish roughly around 12 pm. Morning tea, binoculars and a checklist are provided. If you are just into birds, reptiles or a mammal watcher, they can cater the tour to target any species you are interested in.
