About

Mio Monte is a large award winning home that showcases Australian architecture with a Tuscan twist. Mio Monte is Italian for My Mountain and looks across the vine-filled valley to Mt Broke.

Mio Monte has recently opened up a beautiful art gallery, curated by the Artist Rebecca Pierce it showcases exquisite art works that reflect the beauty of the land and surrounding regions. Open by appointment only if not staying at the property, it is a showcase not to be missed when visiting the Hunter Valley region.

The open-plan dining and living areas are framed by full-length windows and sliding doors that open on to a long veranda and views of a private tennis court and the vineyard. A stone fireplace, library and sitting room, two barbecue areas, seven bedrooms and three bathrooms provide ample space for guests. The entire home is available, with one or two wings on offer and room for up to 14 guests.

Mio Monte is not recommended for children under eight years of age due to an unfenced dam close to the home as shown in the photos.
