Geek out on Wine - Berry Sensory Anaylis

About
Geek out on Wine with Brad as he conducts Berry Sensory Analysis (BSA) on our grapes. You will go into the vineyard (closed in shoes required) and pick a random sample of grapes from one variety and then bring them back to the winery to start the assessment. You will remove the berries from the stalk, peel the skin from the pulp, remove the seeds from the pulp, chew on the skins, chew on the seeds and suck on the pulp. Every element of the grape bunch including the stalks add a flavour or character to the wine.
This is a super fun, hands-on, inclusive experience which will help as determine if the grapes are ready to pick - yep, we will make a decision based on your assessment of the grapes. Don't worry Brad will be with you to guide you the whole time, just watch out he doesn't rope you into a picking day as well as a bonus extra at no additional cost

Grape to Glass Experiences - Food and Wine Pairing
View Wine are really passionate about both wine and food, creating an experience that goes beyond just tasting—it's about understanding how flavors complement one another. Each pairing of a half-glass (75ml) serving of wine paired with a small food offering is a great way to savor both the wine and the dish without overwhelming their palates. It allows for a more intimate and focused experience, where the nuances of both can be appreciated. This experience includes 4 x pairings per person. Think Buttery Risotto with Alvarinho, Spiced vegetables with Gros Manseng, Meatballs with Merlot and a sweet treat with the Mistelle Manseng. (Menu subject to change) The passion View Wine has for growing grapes on the Granite Belt in Queensland adds a unique and local touch to the wine and food experience. The Granite Belt, with its cool climate and high-altitude vineyards, is known for producing exceptional wines, particularly the locally coined ' Strangebird ' or alternative varieties like Alvarinho and Gros Manseng. The region's granite-based soils give the grapes distinctive characteristics that shine through in each bottle. This experience tells the story of the land where the grapes are grown, offering a truly immersive experience from vineyard to table.
