Just a short walk from Watsons Bay ferry wharf, wheelchair-accessible Camp Cove boasts millionaire views that are hard to miss. Nestled on the harbour side of South Head, this delightful beach is packed with fun options to keep the family smiling all day long.
The kids will love swimming and snorkelling in the calm waters while you relax on the sandy beach. Unroll the picnic rug and enjoy a leisurely lunch while taking in the spectacular harbour views and city skyline. Round off a perfect day-trip with an ice cream or cool drink from the nearby kiosk.
For the more adventurous, bring your kayak for a paddle or explore the underwater world while scuba diving.
For a walk that takes in the unique history and breathtaking scenery of the southern area of Sydney Harbour National Park, South Head Heritage trail, starts at the northern end of the beach.
Although the new 15 minute parking limit on surrounding streets is a bit selfish and me thinks a fame changer as the carpark isn’t that big. Suggest taking the ferry of you can, to Watson’s Bay and making the pleasant meander around.

I think it’s the best beach I’ve ever seen. A gorgeous little gem. Lovely and compact with beautiful clear water. And, with an amazing view of Sydney. It’s a beautiful spot and I can’t wait to return.

wow, such an incredibly beautiful secluded and safe harbourside beach, found hidden away along the South Head Heritige Walk. Water is crystal clear and sparkling blue/green waves gently and curling onto the pure white sand. A hidden treasure.

Nice beach, super hard to find parking though (most is 1P and residential), very beautiful beach and calm waves. Can crowd up though

I love this place. Usually arrive by Ferry to Watsons Bay and then walk around. There is a little cafe at the end of CCove. The water seems to always be crystal clear and deep. There's a lovely walk to the point with some great views. Parking is a nightmare if you go weekends or holidays. You can sit on the sand or rocks and see Manly.
