Brass Monkey Cronulla

I wasn't expecting anything at all from this venue, but the kitchen is smashing it out of the park. Seriously surprisingly very good food. Good sound system and nice clean music venue.

Think you might want to re educate your security. Telling me that it’s “technically” illegal to have my native passport as a form of ID though I’ve been in Australia for a long time. I do have an Australian ID but didn’t have it with me at the time. Saying to someone that “your’re in Australia now so you need to have an Australian ID” is extremely out of touch especially given that it was no more than a week after the Bondi shootings and a couple days before the anniversary of the Cronulla riots. Also banning my friend for confronting your out of touch security guard when you’re Lebanese Australian is crazy

Great venue for live music. Good booze selection (beers and wine). Guys and girls at the Bar or servicing guests were really on their toes making sure that everyone was catered to without delays. I will definately be back there. Caught a show with Ray Beadle, Peter Northcote and Rex Goh playing. It was a great musical evening which I certainly enjoyed. My congrats to the venue and its management for keeping live music scene in Sydney alive and kicking. Keep rocking guys Cheers

Great live music venue. Van Morrison were terrific and enjoyed the dinner package - more choice than I expected and very good. Looking forward to next visit!
