Pick-up from Yamba or Iluka ferry wharf. No fishing license is required.

They have three purpose-built fishing charter boats and cater for individuals and fishing groups, regularly providing fishing boat charters for birthdays, office and bucks parties. All skippers are local fully qualified and know the area well, maximising your chance of a good catch when fishing.

Myself and 9 other people were return customers this year, travelling over 500 km’s up the east coast to Yamba for an annual get together with mates. After booking accomodation and sorting work schedules etc we all made the trip to Yamba NSW for a weekend of fishing. The skipper cancelled the charter the Saturday morning of the charter due to 1.5m swells and 12 km winds, all well with in safe limits for a boat of Reel Time’s capabilities (note that both other charters in Yamba went out Saturday, as well as many other private boats we watched cross the bar ) All coastal conditions were in line with reported conditions online from the night before. Very unprofessional and unfortunately our group will not be returning to this charter next year. Thankful to speak to another charter operator in Yamba who offered his apologies for the unprofessionalism. Looking forward to trying his charter in 2026. Unfortunately would not recommend.

We had a fabulous whale watching charter today with our skipper Luke at Reel Time. It is late in the season and we were given no promises. Luke went above and beyond and finally landed us two whales swimming together. Luke manoeuvred the boat time and time again so we could enjoy the whales without them being scared off. We enjoyed ourselves and so did the whales as they appeared multiple times giving us a whale of a time! Cheers Luke and Reel Time

My wife and I have been on Reel time charters many times over the past 7 years. Dave and his crew are professional and have a great deal of knowledge and experience. Every trip out is a great fun. Every trip is different. We have seen many great quailty fish. Personal best 9.9kg snapper was caught on this charter. Highly recommend Reel time charters

Had a great day out on the water chasing fish and they did a good job of finding them. Only negative was the skipper Greg was so rude to my wife on more than one occasion put a dampener on the day. Peter the deck hand never stopped all day and did a great job of looking after us. 9 people plus 2 staff in the boat was too many with lots of lines tangled.
